Closed as part of parent A&P's 2015 bankruptcy and liquidation.

Pathmark launched in 1968 when a group of independent grocers under Supermarkets General built a chain of large, brightly lit 'superstores' across New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. Known for long hours, in-store pharmacies, and its blue-and-red logo, Pathmark was a fixture of the metro-area suburbs and cities. It was acquired by rival A&P in 2007 and went down with its parent when A&P liquidated in 2015.
